ABOUT US

IN A NUTSHELL

We’re a St. Louis-based general contractor focused exclusively on small and medium-sized commercial construction projects. We are known for both ground up and interior finishes in our areas of expertise including restaurants, retail, and specialized builds such as fitness, religious institutions, event spaces,  educational facilities, and medical and office spaces.

Built From the Ground Up

In 1904, the year of the World’s Fair in St. Louis, a man by the name of Joe Spiegelglass started helping friends with their construction projects. He certainly had no idea that the company would grow to where we are today, and we’re proud to honor his legacy.

The company remains family-owned – Joe’s grandson and great-grandson, the third and fourth generations, now co-own the business. With strong roots in our hometown of St. Louis, Missouri, we build small and medium-sized commercial projects throughout the Midwest for national chains and independently-owned businesses from a variety of industries. You might recognize the names of some of our repeat clients: Shake Shack, KOHLER Showroom, First Watch, Williams Sonoma, Panera and many more.

Who we are - Spiegelglass Construction

You’ll notice something different immediately upon meeting our owners – they have a passion for turning an idea into something tangible, and they combine that with the know-how of a company that has been in business for more than a century. Plus, they’re ridiculously nice people. They work hard and enjoy seeing the sigh of relief from satisfied clients who are excited to open their business and grateful their project ran smoothly.
