MARYLAND HEIGHTS, MO (August 13, 2024) – Today Spiegelglass Construction Company announces the promotion of Joe Sneed to Chief Operating Officer. In this newly created role, Sneed will oversee construction operations including estimating, pre- and post- construction, and overall project management.
“Since Joe joined the company, he has proven to our team and our clients that he’s their go-to to get things done on time and on budget with a focus on quality,” said Tim Spiegelglass, owner and president. “He keeps a careful eye on the operations, gets our subs what they need when they need it and ensures our clients are informed on the team’s progress.”
Sneed previously served as vice president, construction, and brings nearly 40 years of construction industry experience to the table. As Spiegelglass Construction continues its focus on midsize commercial construction projects including retail, restaurant and specialty projects, Sneed will be responsible for strengthening the operating model to better support existing and future clients.
“Operators have to have a willingness to jump in and do whatever it takes to get the job done right, while also ensuring the back-end systems are in place for a well-oiled operation,” added Spiegelglass. “We are grateful for Joe’s commitment to these principals and are looking forward to his future contributions to the company.”

Joe loves the St. Louis community and is involved both personally and professionally in a number of organizations, including the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and the American Society of Professional Engineers (ASPE). He holds two positions with the Associated General Contractors of Missouri: Chair of the Membership Policy Committee and Chair of the Building Division. Joe is also LEED A.P. BD+C accredited, demonstrating his expertise in green building and the LEED rating system.
